Life & Business Coaching

Let’s be frank.‍

You already know something needs to change.

Simple, right?
Decide what to change and get on with it. If only it were that easy.

Life & business coaching
The world has changed, and so has work. Careers don’t run in straight lines any more, and reinventing yourself is part of working life now. No wonder nearly eight in ten people in the UK are worried about losing their job.

Maybe that’s you. Or maybe it’s quieter than that. You’ve outgrown what you do, or something in your life has shifted.

None of that means something’s wrong with you. Change is unsettling, but it also brings choices.

You don’t have to work it out alone. Together, we’ll get clear on what needs to change, in your work or your life, and take it one practical step at a time.

What coaching isn’t
Coaching isn’t therapy. It’s about where you are now and where you want to go, not about working through your past. Our conversations are private and confidential, and I follow The Coaching Academy’s Code of Ethics. If something comes up that needs a different kind of support, I’ll be honest with you about that too.

Franco Bonadio.

Change is constant. I know it can be unsettling, because it’s happened to me too. But I’ve also seen how often it leads somewhere better. Coaching is one way to meet it with a clearer head.

For over 30 years I’ve helped people and organisations through change. I’ve held senior leadership roles in creative agencies and in brands, including The Body Shop, and worked with Nike, Google and the United Nations.

I was born in the UK to Italian parents, and as a child I translated for them. It taught me how to help people get their message across. For years I did that for others. Now I’m helping people do it for themselves.

Today I coach, I teach, and I run a brand consultancy. I’m also completing my International Coaching Diploma.

And the name? In Italian, franco means frank. It seemed to fit.

Everyone’s change is different. Let’s talk about yours.

What a coaching session feels like

First and foremost, it’s a conversation. it can feel organic but it’s subtely structured. You talk, I listen and ask the questions to help you think more clearly.

I won’t tell you what to do.

That’s the difference between coaching and teaching. A teacher gives you the answers. A coach gives you the space, the methods and the steps to find your own answers. That’s why it works.

I draw on proven coaching frameworks like the GROW model and other coaching principles - put simply, we look at where you are now, where you want to be, and what’s really stopping you. Then we work out the steps to help you get there.

How many sessions?

Sometimes one is enough. Often it’s three or more. Most people just know when they’re ready to take it and run with it.

What you come away with

A clear goal. A plan you believe in and the confidence to act on it.
